People first, cameras second.
It started as a childhood love of holding a camera and noticing people. After years of photographing life around me, I finally took the leap in 2024 and Firefly Photograffi was born: one camera, a stubborn belief that photographs should feel like memories rather than adverts, and a lot of love for the people in front of it.

It started as a childhood love of holding a camera and noticing people. After years of photographing life around me, I finally took the leap in 2024 and Firefly Photograffi was born: one camera, a stubborn belief that photographs should feel like memories rather than adverts, and a lot of love for the people in front of it. What began with friends' weddings and family shoots has grown into an award-winning South Wales studio.

The way we see
Warm, natural and true to the light in the room. We shoot for real skin tones and honest colour rather than heavy filters, so your photographs still look right in ten years' time.

The way we work
Mostly documentary, with light direction when it helps. We'll find the good light, give you something to do with your hands, and then get out of the way so the real moment can happen.

With families and children
Children set the pace, always. We work in short bursts, follow the game rather than fight it, and never ask a child to say cheese. Newborn sessions are slow, gentle and led by feeds and naps.
